CCS Road

Hard to believe it was just about a year ago that James Sturm and I were clearing out his studio on the 2nd floor of the Coolidge building in White River Junction and moving his stuff over to the Colodny Building, home of the Center for Cartoon Studies. Here we are doing the Abbey Road thang, schlepping the vast library and studio schtuff of the ink-slinging maestro of The Golem's Mighty Swing across the street I know cross two or more times a week.

CCS has become a new center of my life, professionally, creatively, personally. It's been a tremendous axis for a new phase of existence, and I'm forever in James and Michelle's debt (and that of everyone at CCS) for redirecting my energies in fresh creative directions, at a time when my son and daughter are moving into their own paths as adults and Marge and I are enjoying a new chapter in our almost-12-years-together.

Anyhoot, this pic brought back memories of pre-CCS existence, on the cusp of the new adventure. Has it only been a year?
