Please, tell me we, as a country, are not
"The coming week may be his last opportunity to shift the debate — or at least to give Republicans political cover and throw Democrats off stride. The White House rollout strategy envisions a presidential speech to the nation, either Thursday or Friday..."
How long are we going to stomach these Stuck & Spin assholes accusing anyone talking rationally about this clusterfuck mismanagement of a willfully launched, unjustified and unprovoked war being Cut & Run cowards?
Has there ever, in US history, been a President and Administration so transparent about their "selling" of a war?
And now they're re-selling it?
And we all know they're re-selling it???
Have we all got shit for brains?

Stupid in America
Hell, you voted for 'im. I sure the hell didn't!
You don't have to buy a war from that mentally retarded mass murderer. He's going to stick you with it.
Well, when his handlers rigged the election in 2000 to install him in the White House, the American people reacted like sheep. We deserve that filthy scumbag and we deserve whatever happens to us.
Make that "bleating sheep," Bob, and you'll hit the nerve for some folks.
He has already STUCK us with it, and all that may curb him is the implosion of our own military machine and the US economy. Either way, we're screwed in the dew.
There was an editorial this past week (picked up and reprinted in our local paper, The Valley News) indicating the possibility of Bush launching the war against Iran in the interim between the upcoming November 2008 election and the new President -- whoever it may be -- assuming office in January 2009. It's plausible, especially given the baiting and war-mongering horseshit Bush, Fox News (I stomached about three hours this week, just to see what was going on on that network) et al are fomenting with the monotonous familiarity of the gearing up to war in Iraq of 2002-3.
Watch for a false flag operation to put us into Iran. Bush's executive order would give me the power of a dictator in the case of another "national emergency."
THis administration will do ANYTHING to maintain the status quo for the corporate powers that run this nation.
Corporate powers. If there's any doubt, that's what generates the gravity of this government. We live in a plutocracy. Government of the rich, by the rich, for the rich.
