Meanwhile, In Mark Martin Land --

Though I have been incredibly busy of late (see today's catch-up post, directly below), I have still found the time to

  • try to save my friend Mike Dobbs's life,

  • only to stupidly decapitate him somehow.

  • I'm still not sure how this happened; maybe I'll find out eventually. I'm told there's more coming, hopefully with more gut-splattering hi-larity ensuing.

To read the whole Blogopera strip thus far, check out
  • Mark's Jabberous blog, which is always linked on my links menu at right. Always. The Blogopera started in late October, see Mark's archive links.

  • Of course, you can visit Mark's entire online universe here, where the L'il Condi Rice face lurks.

  • There's a little Condi everywhere, I'm told.

    Praise be to Jove!

So much talent. Since I left comic books behind, I'd almost forgotten how damned good Mark Martin is.

Completely unrelated, but there's an absolutely gut wrenching blog by a former DC editor here: http://occasionalsuperheroine.blogspot.com/

Start with the oldest post at the bottom of the page. It makes for a powerful read.

    I've been 403'd!

Got an error message saying I was "forbidden" from looking at the first two links.

    Hey y'all!

Just checking in on my favorite "liberal blog" and it's all about ME! And My Li'l Condi!

Blogger won't let you link to images. It's a bandwidth thang. Collen, you can use the next-to-last link in post to get there. And if you back all the way up to blogopera 001 and read froward, you'll learn that it was not Bissette's fault that Mikey got splattered. So don't be mad at Steve.

    mmmmmmm... Condi...

I don't know what to make of that superheroine blog. I'm totally baffled by the love and loyalty people feel for superheroes, so I can't empathize with the feeling of loss and betrayal. It's like getting worked up over a football game. I just can't do it.

I gotta go. Thanks for the hype, Bissette. See ya, Hemlockkkman. (kidding!)
