It's
Dorky
Dunston
Day!

Banned in some countries due to its sensational man/ape sex sequence (which was cut from all US prints, just after release), the 1996 classic Dunston Checks In remains a key simian cinema classic in Alabama, Utah and parts of Minnesota.

Also censored from all US and UK prints of Dunston Check In was the now notorious bathtub masturbation scene (those aren't soapsuds!), which prompted a near-riot during the film's studio preview screening. dunstondunstondunstondunstondunstondorkydorkydorkydorkydorkydorkydunstondunstondunstondunstondunstondunstondunstondunston

In some European markets, the unexpurgated Dunston Checks In was released under false pretenses as a sequel (!!!) to Peter Jackson's remake of King Kong, with the explicit orangutan/human sex sequences intact. Needless to say, this ploy failed miserably at the boxoffice, despite the McDonald's 'bathtub sex toy' tie-in campaign.

I have a confession to make -

I don't really like Dunston all that much. It's just better than King Kong.

But hey - at least I successfully distracted all the impressionable Gaiman fans from any real discussion of the criminal activities of the Xtian Cowboy Regime!

And here I'd said the joke had played itself out. Just call me Dunston!

LOL -- we knew it had to happen sooner or later. When does the giant ape become a dinosaur?
