Welcome to my musings on life, work and the creative life amidst teaching at the Center for Cartoon Studies. Posts are illustrated when I can manage it. Myrant is just that: MYrant! I post daily, for the most part, except when deadlines and workload constrict my time.

Meet our new flat mates...
That's Lizzie (short for Miss Eliza) and Tuco basking in the vast comfort of their expansive new home.
It's their world now; Marge and I just get to live here!
My wife and I had one live with us for over twenty years. Cinnamon. She appeared at our front door soon after we were married (we think she was about 6 months old at the time, a flea-covered stray applehead Siamese). She lived for twenty years more, finally fading away.
Now we're down to one cat. Sophie. She's a trip, too.
I love cats.
