I'm going for a walk...

Man, I was up at 5:30 AM, read the paper, had a good breakfast, and planned my writing morning -- including this morning's blog posting -- when my computer warm-up visit of a few boards landed me
  • here.

  • So, instead, the morning writing warm-up exercises that comprise this blog went there instead, hoping to curb such gross distortions of history I was involved in.

Some days, you just get derailed a bit. This is one of 'em. You do the best you can for people, with people, and still find a nice serving of shit waiting when you least expect it.

The sun is out, the sky is blue, and it's Indian Summer in Vermont.

Fuck Taboo, fuck From Hell, fuck comics; I'm going for a walk.

    See you all later, here.

Hmm. It's nearly 1 p.m. and I just woke up.

I think I will also go for a walk ...

Steve, it's crazy that you so often have to correct the story on random messageboards. Ever think about writing an autobiography about your years in the industry? Or does TCJ interview stand as a definite statement?

Of course I just realized that I addressed this topic by asking you more questions! Argh.

    Walk.

Hey, Al and Dan -- Thanks for the kind words.

An autobiography? Jeez, who'd read it?? Zzzzzzzzzzzzz...

I'm planning a book collecting my comics essays and writings, including some scripts, for 2006 -- including the definitive expanded "Mr. Moore and Me," which will also touch upon these ongoing semi-annual visitations with the topic. Hope that cinches it... but it won't.
