I scrolled through it, nothing like our Scott appearing, but what did appear was my gesture drawing/block print! I clicked "visit page" and found myself in the middle of my own interview - but no reference to Scott that I saw (though he must be in there). He lived with my sister Meg and announced their engagement before she threw him out, and when she became terminal with cancer, she made me swear not to tell him util she was dead. That was awkward, and I haven't really heard from him since.Doc Ersatznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15861891.post-2625678142150484502007-06-13T06:37:00.000-04:002007-06-13T06:37:00.000-04:00Hi Doc! As I posted the pic, I heard the soaring soprano on the Morricone score in my head...

VT has a lot of damned townships -- those are townships, not counties (or parishes, if you're a Louisiana reader).

Still, we have a fair number of counties and our share of corruption, too -- shit, VT Yankee, the southern VT nuclear power plant, continues to be approved for 120% of its operational capacity (yes, you read that right) though we're now years AFTER it's programmed closing date it was constructed for. The process was horrific, cruel, grueling and utterly corrupt.SRBissettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14426874992235196378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15861891.post-88773431435663144792007-06-10T21:57:00.000-04:002007-06-10T21:57:00.000-04:00By the gods. The scenery alone seems worth the tuition.

ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST: my favorite western. One of my favorite films. Claudia Carndinale was the world's most beautiful woman.

Re: the map of Vermont. How many freaking counties do you guys have in that little state? My dad used to say that you could tell how corrupt the governments of formative states were when they carved up the state into counties. The more counties, the more political corruption. My native state, Georgia, has 169 counties. The politicians are notoriously corrupt there, and have always been so.James Robert Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17281049641681225389noreply@blogger.com
