(I'm getting old.)<BR/><BR/>At any rate, one reason I never bothered to seek out the original film is that I'd always read that there was no "director's cut" of the movie--that his work had been hacked to bits and reassembled by a cast of idiot executives, thus ruining what had been an excellent film.
