Remember this my friend, the networks are owned by big corporations whose sole purpose is to turn an ever-increasing profit and to expand. They are not about being liberal or conservative. They are about themselves. They will do whatever they can to court the governments that have the power to regulate them. I'm sure there is some current lobbying effort that would benefit the big media companies currently underway and making stuff up about events that have caused the deaths of THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT PEOPLE here and elsewhere is a tool the corporations are willing to use.

I know that what I do for a living is small frickin potatoes in the media industry and the issues that I have first hand knowledge of...local and state...don't mean much to too many people . They would rather focus on national issues because it's easier to bitch about the things we have the least power over rather than get involved with the issues we could actually affect.

The bottom line is that those people who still believe that what they see on TV has some basis in fact probably vote, send money to politicians and think they are well informed. Of course, they are not.

Go over to www.whatreallyhappened.com and check out news stories that manage not to get too much traction and really show what is happening.

Regardless, manly platonic hugs and kisses

MikeMike Dobbshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00694483252375913277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15861891.post-1157751655040657342006-09-08T17:40:00.000-04:002006-09-08T17:40:00.000-04:00THE IRONY!!!I think I may faint.THE IRONY!!!

I think I may faint.Mark Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04799399359022340724noreply@blogger.com
