I'm a *huge* pessimist about these th...Heya, Steve! <BR/>I'm a *huge* pessimist about these things, but I didn't see Colbert as just a "court jester" -- a position which in times past was in fact sanctioned by the court. I think the Press Corp *itself* serves that court jester role these days -- when they "bite" they leave no marks. They actaull found and annotated the previous statements to show that Rummy is not be truthful at this time.<BR/><BR/>So much of the current political scene has boiled down to faith...either you have it in this administration and no criticism can penetrate it or you don't. Arguing politics today is like debating religion.
